Our Story

Conceptualised beneath the shade of our orange orchard in the Byron Bay hinterland, our considered pieces are inspired by our local landscape, play-tested by our own children, and lovingly created for yours.

Our brand was created organically from a desire to source quality cotton children's clothing at an affordable price. We understand that life with little ones is often busy and messy so our collections feature lightweight cotton fabrics with a focus on good coverage for sun protection, practical earthy colours for outdoor play, and delicate prints inspired by our hinterland flora. 

Our garments are effortless in design and function, intended to be layered up or down to work across seasons and worn loose and flowy to increase their fit life on growing kids.

 

 

We design and source our collections via a small network of trusted suppliers and production houses in China and Indonesia. We work closely with our suppliers to produce soft and durable natural materials and create small batches to reduce waste.

Our considered pieces are designed to be roomy, with sleeves and pants which can be easily rolled, and quality materials and workmanship so your little ones can live in their Valencia items, then pass them on to be re-loved again.
